in the Priory of France - O.S.J.

 
 
OSJ is not an honorific or commemorative Order
and surely not a "decoration".
Its aim, unchanged since its beginnings
is summeriezd by its motto :
Pro fide pro utilitate hominum
For Faith and the Service to mankind

OSJ is a "spiritual family", whose Members
have adopted the values that makes the
Introduction to OSJ
as a lay, religious, hospitaller, chivalrous and ecumenical Order.
They give a global sense to their lives, choosing to model it, the best they can do, and according to the levels of commitment, to the proposals of the OSJ Rule.
It is build up for men and women,
practising Christians,
that is to say trying to practise the Gospel in their lives, with no social exclusion,
and with no particular need of living communally,
even if they like their Gatherings among peers.
Any person who feels called
may act for a motivate candidacy.
