Regular Order of Saint John of Holy Land
O.S.J.

 

AN ORDER : A brotherhood of lays, men and women, married or not, living scattered all over the world and that have the vocation to live according to the OSJ Common Rule.

 


RELIGIOUS : Several levels of commitment (Auxiliaries, Donats, Knights and Ladies), include Proposals for religious way of life.


HOSPITALLER : Every Members have to devote part of their time in volontary help for
Charity work in the service of the poor and the sick.


CHIVALROUS : A traditional sense of Honour and Service, according to the Chivalry
Code of Honour, confered by the dubbing of the Hospitallers and the "Réception" of the Ladies.


ECUMENICAL : The Order admits, with full equal rights, all baptised persons, whatever could be their Donomination, and promote an always favorable behaviour to Christian Unity.
